Using her background as a textile designer, Paula Lishman has given fur a new direction by treating it in a creative, non-traditional way. Cutting the pelts into thin strips, she interweaves them with natural cotton to form a yarn which is then knitted by hand to create many different types of garments, from coats and jackets to hats and other accessories.
